¬†As a way of investigating the ISM transdisciplinary skill of researching, we talk a lot about ways to get information. Mor than just from books and websites, the Smartians have discovered that equally valuable is information from experts – real live people who have experience with the topic. As a way of researching information to include in our Disaster Preparedness Survival Manuals, we have interviewed 3 different sets of people who lived through the experience of Typhoon Ondoy in 2009. We spent a lot of time preplanning our questions so that we could get the information that we needed for our manuals, and we also took notes as the guest speakers were talking. Thank you to Ms. Faye, Ms. Camille and Ms. Isa and Mr. Alex¬†(all from ISM elementary) for taking the time to come in to our class and talking with us. We learned so much from our interviews… [tylr-slidr userID=”” groupID=””]http://www.flickr.com/photos/ismanilaes/sets/72157632196846072/[/tylr-slidr]
