Our class wants the world to be a better place and we are doing our part by giving back to the Earth so that we can be more sustainable.  We have been learning that foods go through a process in order to eat the certain foods we eat.  By planting, we have been able to gain an deeper understanding of the beginning stages of our fruits and vegetables.   This week we made our own self-watering planters and planted some seeds.  Our class is growing:  Chili Peppers, Mustard Leaves, Ampalaya and Sitaw.  You can observe our growing plants in the Community Garden.   We chose the Community Garden to house our plants because we  felt it was the best place for them to get enough sunlight.  In the coming weeks, we are going to observe and take notes of our plants ‘ growth.
