This week, we’ve spent some time taking a closer look at the packaging of the different food products we buy.  Based on the information on the package, the children had to determine whether or not their food product was healthy and why, what their ingredients were in that particular food product, where it came from and how many different packaging layers their food item consisted of when packaged to sell at the store.  After having time to analyze their own packaging, they then paired with another classmate and competed a Venn Diagram showing the similarities and differences between the two food products and their individual packaging.  These will be displayed in our classroom so feel free to stop on by and see what the children discovered.  Below are some photos of the children working on their Venn Diagrams.
